I’m Sarika, a Londoner living in Singapore.

Incurably curious about condiments and matching food to wine and table design.

I write about my adventures around the globe, from wining & dining spots to my obsessions of finding the best greeting cards. I write because I love to. I hope you enjoy reading my explorations.

  1. Hi, I enjoyed your articles on afternoon tea in London. I am traveling to London this weekend, and it is the first trip for my toddler 2-year old boy. It is difficult to find child friendly restaurants, and I would love to bring Jr. to tea in London. Do you think we will feel comfortable at Ampersand? Do you have any suggestions on a not-so-stiff afternoon tea venue? Thx

    • Hi there! I would definitely recommend the Ampersand for a relaxed vibe with the kids. A lot of the London establishments can be a stiff!! ๐Ÿ™‚ If you are a fan of cakes, I would also recommend Muriel’s Kitchen (there’s one right opposite the Ampersand Hotel, have a great trip!
